Inspirational soundtrack? European accelerating cream? Pseudo sexual workout? Neat. (Side note: Paul Younane is an anagram for Nay, Open Luau. So…yeah. Chew on that for a bit.)

“Immersion” by Robbie Cooper. The idea: film kids while they play video games. The girl from 2:34 to 2:40 is so creepy. Maybe it’s the Danish hip hop. Maybe it’s the soulless eyes. Whatever. It’s uncomfortable.

You know that feeling you get when you learn back in your chair just a little too far and stop right before you fall off? That’s the feeling I get when I see Kerry Skarbakka’s pictures. And true, while the pieces are just very carefully choreographed stunts, they’re still very cool. Check out his portfolio here. He’s also got an exhibition coming up at the Irvine Contemporary in Washington D.C. on the 19th, so if you’re down there…you know, like, go. More photos after the jump.

Simple, direct, and very cool. Visit City Harvest’s page here. Read more about the PSA via Mahalo.

The mutant love child that’s part fishing line, hose clamp, paintbrush, cutlery, kick drum pedal, drum stick, viola, violin, cello strings, and double bass…that’s The Experibass. Sonic madman Diego Stocco has also made music from trees, sand, and a stapler. View his complete portfolio here.

Saw this in Marketing today and thought it was a clever ad. Who doesn’t like a good Rube Goldberg Machine? Then I learned that there is no CGI in the ad. Anywhere. Now, that’s impressive. You can read more about the 605 tries it took to get this right here.

I found this quite funny. Probably because I’m so mature. It’s also further proof that the UK has us beat in witty dialogue. See more of Tim Minchin’s videos on his YouTube page.
