“10 Days” by Ripo

by Dave Lanning on March 2, 2010

For a little over a week in May 2009, US based artist Ripo nabbed ten consecutive newspapers and re-imagined the headline through a colorful and typographical lens. Typography nerds rejoice; while he’s not totally slinging established fonts, the bulk of his focus is placed on the letters themselves and how they relate to the subject. Check out more work from Ripo here and keep up with his latest headlines .

Ahh, excellent. Thank you! I personally have always listened to “Thought for Food” over any other album they have so needless to say, I was a bit stunned when I couldn’t put my finger on what song this was.

Thanks for finding it, going to have to start listening to “Lemon of Pink” more!

Good call, it is The Books! It’s a track called “Tokyo” off the album “The Lemon of Pink”
